HEAVY DUTY VISE: The Yost Vises ADI-5 is a 5-inch professional grade work bench vise made from 130,000 PSI austempered ductile iron. Has interlocking (geared) 360-degree swivel base. The handle, lockdowns and replaceable hardened steel serrated Machinist and Pipe Jaws are zinc plated. TECHNICAL SPECS: Jaw Width 5" (12.7 cm), Jaw Opening 6" (15.24 cm), Throat Depth 3.25" (8.255 cm), Min Pipe Capacity .5" (1.27 cm), Max Pipe Capacity 3" (7.62 cm). SWIVEL BASE: Interlocking (geared) 360-degree Swivel Base with two lockdowns and ADI base with three mounting holes. Large anvil work surface. HOW TO USE: Make sure vise is securely mounted to the workbench and the swivel base lock are secure. Open the vise by turning the vise handle counterclockwise. Place item between the serrated jaws. Close the vise by turning the vise handle clockwise until the item is snug in the serrated jaws, continue to tighten until you can no longer move item. Don't over tighten as this may damage item and or the vise. When finished working on the item, turn screw handle counterclockwise to release the item.
