Our 2.5" Micro Drunkin Shad is the perfect "Tiny Fluke" style soft Jerkbait. At 2.5" it mimics small baitfish which the bass feed on throughout the year. With the popularity of forward facing sonar (FFS and LiveScope), this "minnow" style bait is winning millions when fished around suspended bass or bass around brush piles. We like to call it "Live Bait", because our color selection, along with the profile, fools the fish into thinking it's an actual shad. If you are looking to capitalize on the Forward Facing Sonar revolution, look no further, at 2.5" our Micro Drunkin Shad will keep you getting bites long after other FFS baits stop producing. Rigging: The ideal rig we've found for these is on our 1/4 oz Ledge Knocker Swimbait Jig Head, or one of our 1/8 oz Wrecking Ball Jig heads and fished at the level of the bass. Use a 7' Medium light spinning rod, on 10lb braid to an 6lb florocarbon leader. Cast the jighead out and reel it through the level of the fish. During the entirety of the retrieve, perform small tight rod twitches, this will make the bait dart and pop along, fluttering it's tail, bringing it to life.
