OEM Lego City Train Set - just as you would expect
Really fun Steam Train Lego City set. Packaging and instructions just like you would expect. Cool rails, characters, tickets, steam train with magnetic coupling between cars, and more. Just lots of fun to build and play with. Not sure I need to convince you to love legos but a great set to go on your collection or just to play with.

All Aboird for Fun!
My son and I had a great time building the LEGO City Vintage Steam Train 60511 together. With 575 pieces, there was plenty to do, and it gave us a fun project we could work on side by side. The finished train looks great, with the steam engine, coal tender, passenger car, station, and track. We especially enjoyed checking out the small details inside the engine cab and adding the five minifigures to our adventures. Once it was built, we had just as much fun playing with it and making up our own train stories. The good thing about this set is that it gives us both building time and play time, which makes it more than just something to put on a shelf. The pieces and details kept us interested from start to finish. The not-so-good part is that building a 575-piece set takes some time, so

Cute Train, Good for a Family Build Night
This is the first Lego train set I have ever owned and I have to say that it will probably not be my last. This is a pretty easy build for a Lego set. It is listed as a 7+ set, and I think that is accurate. I think a seven year old with some Lego experience would have no problem building this set. There are four instruction books in the box. One for each section of the train and one for the track and train stop. So this set would be a good set for a family build night with each person building a different section. There are no stickers in this set. All of the prints are pre-printed. That is not always the case with Lego so this is a big deal. The back of the box shows how motor components can be added to the train so it can be power operated. I have built technic sets before that I have

Enjoyable train set, but one of the cars is rather fragile
Overall, I like the set and it makes a great addition to any Lego city display. I displayed it with my Lego Animal Crossing sets as an homage to the GameCube version of the game. However, I have some frustrations with the locomotive car that make me reluctant to give it a full 5 stars at this price point.Overall, the set was enjoyable to build, and as long as I'm careful with how I handle it, I can enjoy the assembled build. However, given it's described as being for ages 7+, I think it should be able to handle more use and play without the locomotive falling apart. I also want to note that the wheels don't lock very securely into the track, so the train tends to fall off the tracks when being moved. Which is unfortunate for those who like to play with their Lego sets instead of just
