These are wedges to mount Ecobee Smart Sensors (not the Room Sensor) at a different angle than Ecobee intended. These will point the face of the Smart Sensor at 90 degrees and 110 degrees from the mounting surface. Ecobee recommends mounting their Smart Sensor at 4-5ft high. Which I thought was just too aesthetically obtrusive. Also, since they designed it to look like a door knob, it would be too tempting for a young child. The modified wedges provide for mounting above a doorway (110°) and lower than the 4-5ft (90°). IMPORTANT: Don’t throw away the mounting clips that came with the Smart Sensor. The wedges incorporate the clip. You mount the Smart Sensors using clip + wedge.
